Brandi Eaton, 27, Gallatin, was seriously injured in an accident at about 9:04 am. in Harrison County.
According to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Ms. Eaton was northbound on Hwy 13. Mark Redd, 19, Bethany, was eastbound on Route H. Mr. Redd failed to stop at a stop sign on Hwy. 13 and struck Ms. Eaton’s 1996 Pontiac on the driver side rear. Her vehicle spun counterclockwise as it traveled northbound, and came to rest on the east side of the road. Ms. Eaton was ejected.
Mr. Redd’s 2005 Ford F150 skidded across the intersection and traveled off the north side of Route H.
Ms. Eaton was transported from the scene by ambulance to Harrison County Community Hospital. She was later taken by Life Flight Eagle helicopter to North Kansas City Hospital. She was not wearing her seat belt.
Mr. Redd, who was wearing his seat belt, received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
The accident was investigated by Sgt. D.P. Little, assisted by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.

Three people from Cameron received minor injuries n an accident that occurred at about 11:20 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, three miles north of Cameron.
According to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Dyana Davis, 52, was northbound on Hwy 69 when she slowed to make a turn and her 1999 Ford Windstar was hit in the rear by Curtis Prentice, 16, Winston, who was driving a 1993 Ford Ranger.
Mrs. Davis, and two passengers in her vehicle, Eugene Davis, 37, her husband, and Genevieve Hopkins, 87, her mother, were taken by Cameron Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. They were all wearing their seat belts.
The accident was investigated by Cpl. R.A. Sherman.
Curtis Prentice was issued a summons for following too close.
