Funeral services for Ilene Dilley were held Friday at the Salvation Army Church in Kirksville. Arrangements were under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville. Cremation followed the service. Expressions of sympathy in memory may be made to The Salvation Army Church. Ilene Dilley, 62, Kirksville, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the University Medical Center in Columbia.
Mrs. Dilley was born Sept. 20, 1945, in Daviess County. She received her education in Pattonsburg.
She married Ronald L. Dilley on March 6, 1971. She lived in Olathe, Kan., and Burlingon, Iowa, before moving to Kirksville, where she lived for the past 21 years.
Mrs. Dilley was a homemaker. She did volunteer work with the Salvation Army, Civil Air Patrol and the Outreach Mission.
Mrs. Dilley was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald; three sons, Richard Higdon of Shelbyville, Ky., John Dilley of Keokuk, Iowa, and Mark Dilley of Great Falls, Mont.; and 10 grandchildren.
