Cori Nichols is new public health specialist

Cori Nichols began a full-time position as environmental public health specialist with the Daviess County Health Department on June 23.

Cori was born and raised in Gallatin and graduated from GHS in 2004. She went to Columbia College and graduated this May with a degree in forensic science with an emphasis in biology.

Cori’s father is Doug Nichols and her stepmother is Jackie Nichols of Gallatin. Her mother is Cindy Falco and her stepfather is Joe Falco, both of Columbia.

Cori, who lives in Gallatin, replaces Angel Michael who has taken a position as a biology teacher at the North Daviess R-3 School District.
