Harold and Imogene Cameron of St. Joseph will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008. A reception will be held at the East Ridge Manor, 1501 Village Drive, St. Joseph, from 2-4 p.m.

Harold and Imogene were married in Trenton on Aug. 10, 1948. Harold is a veteran of WWII, having served in the Coast Guard. The couple lived on a farm near Pattonsburg for 27 years where Harold farmed and worked at the Pattonsburg Post Office. Imogene was a homemaker and also worked at the Pattonsburg Cap Factory and the Daviess County Nursing Home at Gallatin. In 1975, they moved to St. Joseph, where Harold was employed at the St. Joseph Post Office and Imogene worked at The Deli on the Belt. Hosting the event will be their children and their spouses, Bonnie and Allen McFall, Dearborn, and Margie and Gary Jarrett, Kansas City. There are five grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild.
