Funeral services for Rosalie Knott will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 21, at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Family visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Coffey Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Coffey Cemetery in care of the funeral home.

Rosalie Knott, 95, formerly of Coffey, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at Lake Viking Health Care in Gallatin.

Mrs. Knott was born June 9, 1913, in Ridgeway, the daughter of Benjamin F. and Belva M. (Taylor) Lary. She graduated from Jameson High School and attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.

She was united in marriage to Glenn B. Knott on Nov. 25, 1936. He preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2000.

Rosalie and Glenn Knott owned and operated an insurance agency, a sporting goods store, and a gas station in Coffey, where Mrs. Knott lived all of her adult life.

She was a member of the Coffey Christian Church and the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Knott was preceded in death by her two brothers, Delaine and Randall Lary, and her daughter, Kelly L. Knott.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen Knott, Kansas City, and Mark Knott, Houston Texas; two daughters; Glenda St. John and Julie Reynolds, both of Gallatin, three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
