Mindi and Bob Peterson hosted a birthday party for Sean Dinwiddie’s ninth birthday on Saturday. Those attending were Wyatt Dinwiddie, Chris and Raven Mann, J.T. and Loretta Newby, Valerie Newby and Emryk King, Earl, Gene and JoAnn Carter, Rick, Judy and Willow Carter, Carsley Crabtree and Katie and daughters, Brent and Kelsey Brown, Jamie Estes and John and Donna Peterson.

Back in May Karen and Bill Hardin, Ontario, Ore., Anna and Mike Knefaty, Eugene, Ore., were visiting Letha Shipers. Letha had a fall on the sidewalk. They were all preparing for a trip out of town. They took a trip to the hospital instead. Bob and Glennetta Taylor, Independence, came up and she returned home with them. Following a good rest at Glennetta’s, she returned home Friday. Everything looks to be fine now.

Sunday visitors of Martha Huff were Renee Huff and Lacie, Landon and Perry, Krista Sweiger, Grafton, Olivia and Lexie, Gary Huff and friend Rhonda and Rick Huff.

Visitors of Leroy and Janelle Mikes this week have been Shana Day, Darian and friend Susan, Kearney, Lee Mikes, Sandra Holman and Earl Gene Carter.

Saturday Dallas Lowrey, Kris and Elizabeth Lowrey and family, and Jeremy Cain went to Tarkio. There they joined Darryl and Marylan Lowrey and family to help Darryl celebrate his birthday and to attend the fly-in at Tarkio.

Thursday evening Carl and Norma Crone, Gerald and Mildred McDaniel, J.B. and Joyce McDaniel, Helen Robertson, Diana Jarvis, all visited Loren and Nancy Carter at Lawson.

Sunday visitors of Julia Cornett were Bonnie and Richard Walker, Ronnie Cornett, Larry Cornett, Danny Cornett, Helen and Lucinda McDaniel.

Last Sunday Butch and Evelyn Bayne, Dave and Jessica Barnett, took Dave’s brother Bill to the airport for him to return home.

Fourth of July weekend guests of Gene and Kathy Walker were Kristin Walker, Chris, Jennifer, Zach, Laila and Jaida Troxler all of Kansas City. Laila then spent the next week with her Grandma and Grandpa Walker and went to VBS at the First Baptist Church. Sunday night Laila’s family along with her Aunt Betty Woodring of Turney attended the VBS program and supper. Joyce Macrander of Bates City was a visitor of Gene and Kathy Walker Monday evening.
