County Commission

James Lewis, bridge supervisor, reported that damage is being repaired. Federal and state emergency management representatives have accompanied him to some sites for evaluation of damages.

Bills were audited and paid.

Mike Emerson, Benton Township, met with the commission regarding a road in that township. The tube would be a township matter.

Bill Eckert, Jamesport Special Road District, met with the commission reporting damage to a culvert in that township. James Lewis will inspect.

A report was received of two more culverts in Sheridan Township that need attention. James Lewis will inspect for repairs. Also a road was reported in Washington Township that has not been repaired since the flood.

Bob Burnett, Snyder and Associates, met with the commission regarding the design of BRO project 29. BRO projects 30 and 31 have been delayed due to the federal government freezing funds until after Oct. 1.

Kevin Heldenbrand, sheriff, met with the commission regarding liability insurance on stored property.

Ron Ford, Liberty Township, contacted the commission with questions regarding repairs needed and documentation required following the June flash flooding.

Eric Corwin reported repairs needed to the bell tower.

Sheriff’s Office

Stephanie Gibson, 29, Jamesport, was arrested July 10 on Daviess County charges of burglary second degree, class C felony, and two counts of theft/stealing, class A misdemeanors, as well as a probation and parole violation from Grundy County. In early March, Gibson allegedly took a camcorder and a wedding band from the residence of Danny and Connie Critten. She then pawned the items in Trenton on March 4.

Timothy Skinner, 20, Cameron, was arrested July 10 for failure to register as a sex offender, misdemeanor. He posted $1,000 bond.

Bradley Larkin, 37, Jamesport, was arrested July 10 for parole violations and was returned to the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Deanna Roedel, 37, was arrested July 11 for probation violations on three original charges of endangering the welfare of a child. She is being held on $25,000 bond.

Darrell O’Connor, 42, Hamilton, was charged July 10 with misdemeanor domestic assault. He posted $750 bond.

Clifton Allwood, 50, Maysville, was arrested July 11 for misdemeanor DWI. He was processed and released after 12-hour detoxification.

Glen D. Uthe, 45, Altamont, was arrested July 11 for misdemeanor domestic assault. He posted $750 bond.

Associate Circuit Court

Defendants found guilty in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County are listed below with the offense and fine assessed. Additionally, court costs collected for the State of Missouri amount to $66.50 for moving traffic violations and $114.50 in most criminal cases.

Ronald D. Kennedy, Cameron, probation revoked on original charge of careless and imprudent driving involving an accident, five days jail.

Kana R. Mulnix, Bethany, driving while intoxicated, prior offender, 60 days jail, suspended execution of sentence, two years probation, five days shock jail, board bill paid by defendant, ignition interlock order; drove wrong direction on highway divided in two, five days jail, board bill paid by defendant.

Mary F. Bass, Gallatin, probation violation on driving while intoxicated charge, probation continued with additional condition of 48 hours shock jail and complete 21-day in-patient treatment within 60 days.

Judge Brent Elliott presided over the following case: Nathan M. McCoy, Cameron, probation violation on passing bad check, probation ended, 30 days jail.
