Russ and Mona Hervey presented an American Flag to Lake Viking Health Care in honor of their mother Mona K. Brown, who in her 90th year of life won her battle with cancer.

Congressman Sam Graves certified that the flag was flown over the United States Capitol on May 11, 2008. The flag was presented in gratitude to the staff of the Lake Viking Health Care Center. Mona passed away Feb. 10, 2008, at the care center.
