The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that Route J in Daviess County will be closing for road work on Wednesday, June 4 (weather permitting.)

Route J will be closed from Route 6 to Route D for an oiling operation. Area maintenance crews will close the road from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes during this time. This work is scheduled to take one day to complete. This work was originally scheduled to be completed on Friday, March 30 but had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather.
