Maxine Dazey, 90, King City, formerly of Albany and McFall, died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at a St. Joseph nursing home.
She was born Nov. 19, 1917, in Flag Springs, the daughter of William Earl and Nellie (Mullinix) Dungan, and resided in the area most of her life until 1961, when she moved to McFall.
Mrs. Dazey was a 1936 graduate of Union Star High School and a member of the Baptist faith.
On Oct. 8, 1939, she married Leland J. Dazey. He preceded her in death on March 20, 1998.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and half sister, Marjorie B. (Bentley) Meador.
Survivors include two daughters, Alva Lou Schottel, St. Joseph and Glenda Sue Dazey, Albany; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
