Laura Youtsey, 2007 Gallatin R-5 graduate, has been recognized by the United States Achievement Academy as a student of excellence in Agriculture. The Academy recognizes fewer than 10% of all American high school students.

Laura was nominated for this honor by Jamie Rogers, an agriculture advisor at the school. Laura will appear in the academy’s yearbook which is published nationally. Laura is the daughter of Barbara Youtsey, Trenton, and Doug and Gina Youtsey, Kidder. Grandparents are the late Jean Hull and Carolyn and the late Junior Youtsey, all from Altamont.
