Lenora McWilliams was the winner of the Mother’s Day door prize donated by Tiffany In-Home Services.
Proud owner of a Cub Cadet mower is Phyllis Lollar. Second prize of a Snapper self-propelled and Stihl trimmer went to Lawrence Jefferson. Profits from the raffle were $3,001.

Election results: Elected for 2 year term (7/1/08 to 6/30/10) were Mary Lee Froman-Ellis, Duane Frost, Julie Shank, and Hazel Woody.
These four will join the existing members of Russell Hamilton, Kenneth Kordes, Mary Ann Shepard, and Jule Terrill (whose term is up 6/30/09) to appoint four more members to a one year term.

Monday: chef salad, beets, croissant, pie; Tuesday: cheeseburger on bun, spinach, corn, cookie; Wednesday: chicken, coleslaw, red bean salad, fruit; Thursday: country fried steak, mashed potatoes, carrots, fruit; Friday: chicken pot pie, baked potato, juice, cottage cheese w/fruit, strawberry shortcake.
