A Kidder woman received minor injuries in an accident that occurred at about 7:15 a.m. on May 2, a half mile south of Kidder.

According to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Amber Conkling, 28, Kidder, was backing east out of a private drive, when her vehicle was struck in the right rear corner by Tamara Grossman, 42, who was southbound on Route J. Both vehicles came to rest in the private drive.
Mrs. Grossman was taken by Cameron EMS to Cameron Regional Medical Center. She was not wearing her seat belt.
The 2001 Dodge driven by Mrs. Grossman was totaled and towed by Bridgemans’ Tow. The 2005 Ford F150 driven by Mrs. Conkling had minor damage and was driven from the scene.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. A Henry, assisted by Trp. T. Garton and the Caldwell County Sheriff.

An accident occurred at 11 a.m. on May 2 as Jimmy Cannon, 51, Lewisburg, Kan., and Lisa Hedrick, 41, Jamesport, were both eastbound on Route F and Elm Street in Jamesport. Mr. Cannon slowed to stop and was rear ended by Mrs. Hedrick.
Mr. Cannon’s 1985 Nissan pickup came to rest on the north side of the roadway. Mrs. Hedrick’s 1997 Chevy van came to rest in the eastbound lane.
Mr. Cannon was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital via Daviess County Ambulance with minor injuries. He was not wearing his seat belt. A passenger in the Hedrick vehicle, Allison Burkholder, 4, Jamesport, was also taken to Wright Memorial with minor injuries.
The pickup and van were both moderately damaged and towed by Jerry’s Tow, Jamesport.

Edward Miller, Altamont, received moderate injuries when he was driving his 2007 Honda Shadow motorcycle westbound on Hwy. 190 at about 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6. About nine miles west of Chillicothe, he traveled off the north side the road, struck an embankment and overturned once. The motorcycle came to rest on its side in the ditch. Mr. Miller was ejected. He was taken by air ambulance to Liberty Hospital.
The motorcycle was moderately damaged and towed by Jerry’s Garage of Jamesport.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. J.C. Acree, assisted by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and Lock Springs E-M-S.
