The funeral service for Kathleen Williams will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Kirkley Chapel Church, Ridgeway, under the direction of Polley-Slaughter-Polley Funeral Home, Ridgeway. Inurnment will be private. No visitation is scheduled. Memorial contributions are requested to the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association or Kirkley Chapel Cemetery in care of the family or funeral home at 107 Cedar St., Ridgeway, MO 64481.
Kathleen Williams, 84, Gilman City, died Monday, April 28, 2008.
Mrs. Williams was born July 4, 1923, in Ridgeway, to John B. and Inez M. (Deshler) Andrick.
She graduated from Ridgeway High School and worked for a few years at Hallmark in Liberty.
She married Russell K. Williams on Oct. 18, 1947.
Her memberships included Kirkley Chapel Church, Pleasant Hour Club and the M.M. Club.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Patrick; and son, Hilen.
She is survived by husband, Russell of the home; one son, Bruce, Bethany; two daughters, Rosemary Taylor, Hiawatha, Kan., Patti Prewitt, Navasota, Texas; one brother, John R. Andrick; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
