The D.A.R.E. program was a 10 week course in which the sixth graders leaned how to say no to drugs and alcohol, and how to deal with peer pressure. The essay winners, pictured, were Melinda Hess, Kaitlyn McNeely and Anthony Esposito. Chief Richards presented each winner with prizes. Several parents also attended and pizza was served to everyone.
