These scholarships are open to all students in counties of Premium Standard Farms’ operations in Missouri and Texas.
Two students were awarded in Daviess County.
Katy Black of Gallatin will graduate from Gallatin High School and plans to attend Park University in Parkville, Mo., to study graphic design and advertising.
Kate Hangley of Pattonsburg will graduate from Pattonsburg High School and plans to attend the University of Missouri –– Columbia majoring in agriculture business.
“We know these students will excel as they work toward continuing their education,” said Bill Homann, President of Premium Standard Farms, LLC. “We’re proud to provide these scholarships to area students and wish them the best of luck in their academic careers.”
