The local Major Molly Chapter of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) is offering a free seminar dealing with computer genealogy.
Linda Nixon of Cameron has been a genealogy consultant for the past several years. She has presented this program in several other surrounding communities. Persons interested in exploring their family historical roots will be enhanced through attendance at this program.
The seminar will be presented at the Cameron Library building, 312 North Chestnut St., on May 2. Starting time will be at 10 a.m. with a break for lunch on your own, and continuing from 1-3 p.m. Public participation is free and it is hoped that many will be in attendance and take advantage of this program. Registration is not required.
