Becca Bowland won 1st place and a gold rating for her FFA Scrapbook, the book will now travel to state convention in Columbia. Tiffany deJong and Rhyse Curtis both finished second in their Secretary and Treasurer’s books. Justin Conover won a gold rating and qualified as the alternate in the FFA Creed Speaking Contest. Justin competed against 19 other members. Haley Slessman received a gold rating and an alternate finish for her Ag II Speech. Mariah Wood qualified for district competition with her second place finish and gold rating in Advanced Public Speaking.
On March 28 the chapter also received news that it was a Gold Emblem FFA Chapter for the third year in a row. Members will find out their chapter’s ranking at State FFA Convention in April.
