Five of our group attended the advanced Master Gardening training in Trenton in March. When conditions are right, members will be completing the landscaping project at the library. Plans were made for displays during University Extension Week. Discussion was held on working with youth groups on various projects and gardeners decided to have a community service day in the fall to help with yard work for those unable to care for their own yards. A few members worked April 5 to refurbish some landscaping at the log cabin. Next monthly meeting will be in May to work on the highway beds. At that meeting, members are to bring flowers from their gardens to give to some special people.
