The term is for two years. Dan Lockridge is running unopposed for the position of west ward alderman.
Gallatin voters will choose three from the four running for school board — Sandra Alden, Donald Smith, Bryan Youd and Tim Bradford.
Daviess County voters will decide ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to the question: Shall Daviess County Special Road District #1 of Daviess County renew the tax levy of 35 cents on the hundred dollars valuation, for a period of four years.
Daviess County Central Dispatch has an opening for a four year term for board member District 2. No one has filed for the position. Alan D. Bradford filed as a “write-in” candidate.
In the city of Jamesport election, voters will decide between Ron Ledesma and Freda Garner for east ward alderman and between David Bequette and Kevin Goerne for west ward alderman.
Voters will determine whether to impose a sales tax of one half of one percent on all retail sales made in the city for the purpose of providing funding for transportation by marking “yes” or “no.”
Tri-County R-7 school board will hold no election as there was no contest. Those who filed are Ron Ledesma, (one year term), Phillip Showalter, Rodney Odom (incumbent), and Mike Huston (incumbent).
Running uncontested in Pattonsburg are Leonard Barr as west ward alderman and Mark Smith as east ward aldermen. The position is for a two year term.
There will be no election of R-2 school board as incumbents Craig Lambert and Eugene Thatcher are unopposed.
Voters in Winston will decide whether to approve the continuation of the existing street tax of 30 cents per $100 assessed valuation for the next three years.
Winston voters will vote for three among seven running for school board — Barbara Youtsey, Julie Clark, Shelly Mason, Allen Rhoades, Annette Lucassen, Kendall Weigand and Kelly Uthe.
Winston Board of Trustees is uncontested. Two have signed on for the two open positions that will be for a two year term — Arvella Eaton and Bill Michael.
Coffey voters will decide between William Boe Sr. and Walter Burnett for the two year term of mayor, and John W. Griffin who filed as a “write-in” candidate.
Coffey voters will vote for two for director of the Coffey Fire Protection District for a six year term. Those signed on for the position are Jason Lewis and Walter Burnett.
No one has signed up to run for an unexpired four year term for director of the Coffey Fire Protection District or for the unexpired two year term.
The north ward alderman and south ward alderman position at Coffey were without candidates until Lee Courter filed as a “write-in” candidate for north ward and Peggy Burnett filed as “write-in” candidate for south ward. The terms are for two years.
The village of Altamont has two people signed on for the two open positions as trustee for a two year term. They are Victor Dill and Robert Hunt. Two have filed as “write-in” candidates: Joseph A. Rose and Dottie Black.
The village of Jameson has three positions open for trustee and two have filed. Those two are Arthur Turley and Julie Holcomb.
Jameson voters will pick three from five vying for the position of school board member — Chris Nelson, Jeremy Hunter, Axel Olson, Jason Lewis and Beverly Hunter.
The village of Lock Springs has three people running for three two year terms of trustee — Barbara Williams, Robert Dyson and Bernice Fields.
