The Missouri Assessment Program, better known as MAP, is designed to measure student achievement in the core subject areas.

This year, students are required to take the following tests: 7th grade, Communication Arts and Math; 8th grade, Communication Arts, Math, and Science; 10th grade, Math; 11th grade, Communication Arts and Science.

Grades 9 and 12 are not required to participate in State testing this year. At the district level, Grade 9 will take the Stanford Test, which measures student achievement in all core subject areas. Grade 12 will undergo CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training and will have the opportunity to earn certification through this lifesaving course.

Student attendance on the testing dates is crucial. Students are advised to get plenty of rest the nights before these activities. Breakfast will be provided for students who are testing or training. Test results will be available this fall.
