Graveside services and burial for Edith Walker will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at the Coffey Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6- 8 p.m. Saturday at Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonburg, where friends may call after 5 p.m. on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Edith Walker Memorial Fund in care of Roberson Funeral Home.

Edith M. Walker, 74, Gallatin, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008. She was born June 18, 1933, in Pattonsburg,  the daughter of Burl and Gladys (Hall) Walker. She worked as a nurse’s aide at a nursing home.
Survivors include one sister, Ethel Shipers, Topeka, KS; nieces and nephews she raised, Debbie Miller, Bev Coulston, Diane Snyder, Brenda Muff and Brian Walker; four nieces and nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews and 7 great-great- nieces and nephews.
