Eight Winston School students participated in Elementary Solo and Ensemble Contest on Feb. 16th at Richmond Middle School.
Students receiving a rating of 2+ were: Markecia Lewis, Clint Alexander, Jasmine Ramirez. Students receiving a rating of I were: C.J. Uthe, Miranda Weigand, Kayla Eisman, Bailey Curtis, Rebecca Hiley. Tyler Neth who participated in Elementary All-District Choir in November.
Nine Winston School students participated in Jr. High Solo and Ensemble Contest on Feb. 16th at Richmond High School. Students receiving a rating of 2+ were: Dylan Shanks, Elizabeth Brookshire, Jordan Covey, Tabitha Piburn. Students receiving a rating of I were: Robert Keeper, Chandler Newman, Emily McFee, Briana Heldenbrand, Denise Weigand; 14 Winston School students participated in Conference Band on Feb. 23rd in Gilman City: Kristen Heldenbrand, Elizabeth Brookshire, Courtney Riggs, Jordan Covey, Cody Youtsey, Tabitha Piburn, Geoffrey Covey, Dylan Shanks, Robert Keeper, Chandler Newman, Emily McFee, Briana Heldenbrand, Denise Weigand, Taylor Becerra. Tabitha Piburn was selected by audition and participated in Jr. High All-District Band in January. She played clarinet in the concert which took place at Platte City High School.
