Morgan Jeffers, a Searcy Elementary sixth grader, won the Lions Peace Poster contest this year in her school.

Morgan’s poster was then entered in the district competition which she also won.
Her poster was then entered in the state contest. Morgan is the daughter of Tim and Tracey Jeffers of Gallatin.
“Peace Around the World” was the theme for the International Lions contest this year.
Students, ages 11 to 14, were invited to participate. They joined thousands of students throughout the world who expressed their hope for world peace through their art.
