Funeral services for Delbert Gates were held at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany, with burial in the Fairview Cemetery, Bethany. Memorial contributions may be made to Harrison County Meals-On-Wheels and/or Harrison County Hospice and/or Fairview Church.

Delbert C. Gates, 94, Bethany, formerly Gilman City, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008.
He was preceded in death by parents; wife, Beatrice; and two brothers, Frank and Byron Gates.
Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Baker, Blue Springs; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one step great-granddaughter.
