Alpha I. Boyer, 94, Pattonsburg, Mo., formerly of Gilman City, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008.
She was born Dec. 26, 1913 in Jameson, Mo., the daughter of Thomas Presley and Lurah Ann (Erickson) Troxel.
On June 20, 1933, she married Charles H. Boyer in Gallatin, Mo. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2004.
Alpha was a graduate of Jameson High School. She had been a seamstress for Pattonsburg Manufacturing.
Survivors include three daughters, Charlene (Larry) Ballenger, Kearney, Mo., Nancy (Maurice) McNeely, Pattonsburg, Mo., Margaret (Terry) Kindig, Las Vegas, NV; son, Bud (Jo Ann) Boyer, Lenexa, Kan.; brother, Ralph (Gladys) Troxel, Las Vegas, NV; 16 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Nellie, Corine, Lois and Leland; brothers Lawrence and Thomas; and grandson, Jeffrey McNeely.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo. Burial in Hill Cemetery, Gilman City, Mo. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
