An Ag Update conducted by local University of Missouri Extension staff will be held Thursday, Feb. 14 at the Past Times Diner at 209 West Berry in Hamilton.
The meeting will start at 8 a.m. and conclude at noon. A combination row crop and forage update will be from 8 to 11 a.m. and will also qualify for Private Applicator Training. The row crop and forage meeting will discuss soybean economic thresholds, sericea lespedeza control, pasture weed control, managing endophyte infested fescue and other topics.
Also, regional staff will provide updates on feeding ethanol by-products, crop input prices and grape growing (viticulture) in Northwest Missouri. These meetings are design to provide those in agriculture timely information.
