Graveside services for James Ikerd were held Monday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithville, with military honors. Arrangements were by Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
James William Ikerd, Sr., 72, of Tecumseh, formerly Smithville, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, in Mountain Home, Ark.

Survivors include his wife, Judith; one daughter, Mary Shackelford, Smithville; one son, James Ikerd, Jr., Kidder; three stepchildren, Terry Billings, Karen Smith and Timothy Holland; and one sister, Elizabeth Dorris.
