Candidates filing for area school boards are: Gallatin R-5 — Tim Bradford, Sandra Alden (incumbent), Donald Smith and Bryan Youd; Winston R-6 — Barbara Yousety (incumbent), Tanya Farrell, Julie Clark, Shelly Mason (incumbent), Allen Rhoades, Annette Lucassen, Kendall Weigand and Kelley Uthe; North Daviess R-3 — Axel Olson, Chris Nelson (incumbent), Jeremy Hunter, Jason Lewis (incumbent), Beverly Hunter (incumbent); Pattonsburg R-2 — Craig Lambert (incumbent) and Eugene Thatcher (incumbent); Tri-County R-7 — Ron Ledesma, (one year term), Phillip Showalter, Rodney Odom (incumbent), Mike Huston (incumbent).
Deadline to file for municipal elections was 4:30 p.m. yesterday, Jan. 22. According to Gallatin city hall, Dan Lockridge has re-filed for westward alderman. Vying for eastward alderman will be Carla Arnold and John Whitfield.
Elections will be held on Tuesday, April 8.
