The Bulldogs took on Lathrop last night in a makeup of a dual scheduled for last Thursday. Gallatin fell, 52-30, with all points coming from forfeit victories by Anton Steele, Andrew Hood, Matt Atkinson, Brendan Cosgrove and Bradley Jones.
The Bulldogs came away with three medals at Saturday’s Lathrop Tournament. Cody Selby remained unbeaten on the season when he defeated Maysville’s Max Whitsell to capture the championship in the 140-pound weight class. Atkinson beat Stanberry’s C. J. Baldwin to win third place in the 152-pound class. Jordan Phelps was a fourth place finisher in the 215-pound class.
Gallatin travels to Albany tonight (Wednesday) for another GRC makeup dual. The Bulldogs will participate in the Grand River Conference Tournament this Saturday at Stanberry.
