Nicole Ray of Coffey has been chosen to participate in Truman State University’s Missouri Government Internship Program during the spring 2008 semester. Nicole will be interning at the Department of Higher Education.

Truman State University offers the internship program as a unique opportunity for students to intern with a legislator or public official. The program provides the participating student an inside look at state government and the political process. This internship program is one of the oldest and most prestigious full-time internships in Missouri state government.
Nicole, a junior pre-MAE elementary education and English literature major and Spanish minor, is the daughter of Ralph and Deborah Ray and a graduate of North Daviess High School.
Truman State University, located in Kirksville, is Missouri’s designated public liberal arts and sciences university.
Truman has the highest overall graduation rate among all the public universities in Missouri as calculated by Missouri’’s Coordinating Board for Higher Education. More than 50 percent of Truman’s graduates pursue an advanced degree immediately upon graduating. The University enrolls approximately 5,900 students.
