Approximately 200 area high school students are expected to attend the Area 2 Greenhand Motivational Conference to be hosted by North Central Missouri College in Trenton today, Wednesday, Jan. 9. David Nowland, NCMC Agriculture and Natural Resources faculty member, is the event organizer.

Co-sponsored by MFA Incorporated and the Missouri FFA Association, the conference provides an opportunity for FFA Chapters and their Greenhands to meet state FFA officers and learn more about the field of agriculture. The host site is the Ketcham Community Center, and breakout sessions will be held at the KCC as well as in Geyer Hall, Hoffman Hall, and the Hoover Theatre at the Grundy County Jewett Norris Library.
