The Chi-Rho Youth Group of Daviess County recently brought gifts and sang holiday songs to the residents of the Lake Viking Health Care Center in Gallatin.

Over 35 young people and group leaders spent time caroling and visiting with the residents. After the service project of handing out wrapped gifts to the residents, the youth met for a spiritual group discussion and Christmas pizza party. The Chi-Rho’s next meeting will be Jan. 19 with a game/card drive for the Women’s Shelter in Trenton, followed by a potato bar. Students fourth through eighth grade from Davies County are invited to become members of Chi-Rho and join the Christian fun and fellowship.
