The Bulldogs, who lost Monday to #3 Richmond by a 74-29 margin, tonight (Wednesday) face a #2 seeded West Platte team reeling from last night’s upset at the hands of Don Bosco.

West Platte, the #8 ranked team in Class 2, despite a loss before the Christmas break to unranked Hamilton, saw Bosco’s Tyrone Hooker score 36 points and lead his team to an 81-67 upset Tuesday night in the opening round. West Platte got 35 points from all-stater Erick Roe but it wasn’t enough to keep his team on the winner’s side of the bracket.

Gallatin’s boys faceWest Platte in tonight’s late game at 9 p.m.

Gallatin’s #3 seeded girls, following Monday’s 64-39 win over Carrollton, will face host Lawson, the #2 seed, Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs, who shot 26% from the field in the first half on Monday, came out firing live ammo in the second half and took the game in hand. Carrollton took the lead in the middle of the second period but 44% shooting success in the second half carried the Lady Bulldogs to victory.
