Funeral services for Wanda Daniel will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at McWilliams Funeral Home in Jamesport. Family visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Friends may call after 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the funeral home. Interment will be at Masonic Cemetery in Jamesport.

Wanda June Daniel, 73, Jamesport, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Mrs. Daniel was born Aug. 14, 1934, to H. W. and Flora (Toney) Irelan in Rural Sullivan County. She attended country school and later Green City High School.
She was united in marriage to Richard Daniel in September of 1950. The couple lived all over the United Stated while Richard was employed with the U.S. government. During that time Mrs. Daniel took care of the home and raised their children.
Richard and Wanda bought a farm in Colorado and the couple became interested in collecting and selling antiques. This hobby took them all over the country buying and selling and meeting people from all walks of life. When they semi retired in 1995 Richard and Wanda moved to Jamesport where they continued to pursue the antique business.
Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, and one brother.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Richard of the home; two daughters, Linda Gross, Rock Island Ill., and Susan Aherns, of Inverness, Fla., one brother, Darrel Irelan of Palm Springs Ca.lif.; two sisters, Juna Wortz of Trenton, and Helen Bear of Moline, Ill., and two grandchildren.
