The Gallatin Bulldog Pride band members have been very busy the past few weeks. On Nov. 17, the band participated in the Chillicothe and Cameron holiday parades and received first place.
On Nov. 18-19, four band students auditioned and participated in the NCMBA Honor Band in Chillicothe. Those students were Lacy Edwards, 3rd chair Bassoon, Phillip Arnold, 3rd Chair Trombone, Teresa Tairent, 15th Chair Clarinet, and T.J. Little, 3rd Chair Bari Saxophone.
On Nov. 30-Dec. 1, five Band students traveled to Columbia to Hickman High School to audition for the All-State Band. Lacy Edwards received 3rd chair bassoon, Teresa Tairent received honorable mention for alto clarinet, and Jamie Brinnen received 1st alternate for contra alto clarinet. Erica Freestone and Phillip Arnold also auditioned.
The GHS Pride Band will be traveling to the Cotton Bowl on Dec. 28.
