Arrangements for Wallace Brushwood are pending at Yanda Funeral Home in Yukon, Okla.
Wallace Brushwood, 81, Yukon, Okla., died on Dec. 9, 2007.
Mr. Brushwood was born near Frazier on Dec. 17, 1926. He spent most of his life in the saw milling business, first with Iowa Missouri Walnut out of St. Joseph, and later buying his own mill in El Reno, Okla. Later he was employed by National Feed Lot as manager in Yukon until his retirement.
Mr. Brushwood was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Annie (McQueen) Brushwood; twin grandsons, Christian and Clayton Brushwood; sister, Sylvia Brushwood; and brothers, Minor, Cecil and Chesley Brushwood and Paul and Floyd Auxier.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; four daughters, Joyce Gray, Nanette Fanning, Teresa Rhoden, all of Oklahoma, and Barbara Youtsey of Winston; three sons, Michael and Clyde Brushwood of Oklahoma, and Jeff Musgrove of Dripping Springs, Texas; four sisters, Nellie Angold, Ann Hanway and Eleanor Blazinski, all of near St. Joseph, and June Brock of Oklahoma; four brothers, Franklin, Ray and Robert Brushwood, all of near St. Joseph, and Emmett Auxier of Gower; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
