Kim Brammer was introduced by Barbara Irby to inform members of the Bead for Life project her enrichment class was involved in. Members purchased some bead necklaces for the cause of poverty in Africa.
The Dec. 3 meeting of Laureate Delta Rho began with members enjoying a tour of Will and Natalie Salmon’s lovely home decorated for Christmas. Members then moved to Nita Cragg’s home for the business meeting and refreshments. The chapter adopted a family of four for Christmas and all gifts will be taken to Green Hills Agency.
The homes tour was a big success and appreciation was given to all the homeowners and the ticket buyers for making the tour so successful in benefitting the Jean Groom Memorial Scholarship for high school seniors. The Jan. 7 meeting will be held at Southside at 6:30.
