This is the sixth consecutive year that the Pamida Foundation has been able to provide assistance to ease the burden of increased demand at local food pantries during the holiday. With 208 stores in towns throughout the Midwest and Southwest, plus the company headquarters in Omaha, the total contribution for the Foundation for food banks this years is more than $104,000. In addition, Gallatin Pamida will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items from the local community and also Toys for Tots and an Angel Tree.
