Eight members welcomed Karen Harding, District #1 president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, who was making her annual inspection of the post and to bring the members up-to-date on the National Convention that was held in Kansas City in August. After the meeting, the ladies enjoyed refreshments by hostess Mildred Cox. The raffle was won by Lorene McDonald. The next meeting will be Dec. 13, followed by a Christmas party, with Jo Rosseter as hostess. Members are reminded that there will be a gift exchange and “goodies” to sample.
