Funeral services for Sarah Summers were held Saturday, Nov. 10, at the United Methodist Church, Jamesport, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Sarah Frances Summers, 91, Jamesport, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at a Trenton health care center.
Mrs. Summers was born Jan. 1, 1916, in Daviess County, the daughter of Orville and Beulah (Marshall) Thomas.
On Dec. 17, 1950, she married Dale Summers. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1996.
Mrs. Summers was also preceded in death by her parents, and four sisters, Willa Bowen, Adah Thomas, Leland Royston and Garland Thomas.
Survivors include one sister, Geneva Oram, Gilman City; and nieces and nephews.
