The Daviess County 4-H Advisory Board hosted the annual Recognition Day for the club members of Daviess County at the Gallatin First Christian Church.

 Club leaders Mary Gingerich, Brush Squirrels of Jamesport, and Alicia Chrisman, Knee-Hi of Gallatin, presented year pins and 100% attendance pins to their members and recognized the adult project leaders. Caley Mastin was also recognized as an independent member.
Also recognized were Outstanding 1st Year Members: Anna Sutton, Kaitlyn Bird and Mattison Ishmael. The 4-H Spirit Awards went to: Briana Hixson, Tyler Lane, Dane Brammer and Breanne Brammer. Receiving the Key Leader Awards were Darla Chapman, Greg Landes, Vera Nelson, and Paul Pierce. Outstanding county 4-H Project Record book awards went to Aubrey Nelson and Danielle Ness, who each received a savings bond from Green Hills Telephone Company. 
The girl and boy Rookie of the Year award winners were Amy Gingerich and Case Critten.  The girl’s award is given in memory of Lea Jane Froman and the boy’s award is given in memory of Randy Minnick.  Each winner received a walnut 4-H clover plaque which was made and donated by Steve May of Jamesport.  Each plaque had an engraved plate donated by Mary Lee Froman-Ellis and the Wayne Minnick Family.
The secretary of the year winner was Danielle Ness.  While the reporter of the year was Reuben Gingerich and the club scrapbook award winners were Kaley Cox and Breanne Brammer.  The individual scrapbook award winner was Aubrey Nelson.
The Knee-Hi 4-H Club will receive a pizza party for having the largest percentage of their club present.
