Roll call was your favorite Halloween candy. Members were reminded to turn in enrollment forms and pay their dues as soon as possible. National 4-H Week is Oct. 7-14. Daviess County Recognition Night will be on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 2:30 p.m. at the Gallatin First Christian Church. Refreshments will be served. The club with the largest number of members will win a pizza party sponsored by the Daviess County Advisory Board. A motion was made and approved to donate $100 to the Daviess County 4-H Advisory Board to help with Recognition Night expenses. A club outing was made to a pumpkin patch west of Chillicothe on Oct. 21. Alicia Chrisman gave the health tip and advised the members not to save and snack on their Halloween candy for months to come, as it is damaging to their teeth. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Covel D. Searcy Elementary School library.
