Sunday visitors and of Gene and Kathy Walker were Gary and Betty Woodring of Lathrop, Chris and Tyler Woodring and Heather Bailey of Liberty, Kristin Walker, Sidney Smith, Chris, Jennifer and Laila Troxler all of Kansas City.
They were celebrating the Oct. 7 birthdays of Chris and Jennifer.
Gene and Kathy recently received word of the death of Charlie Frazee, 60, passing away at his home in Alvarado, Texas, Sept. 8, following a brief battle with cancer.
He was a 1965 graduate of Pattonsburg High School. Survivors include his wife, Lynn, daughters Michelle, Nikki and Danielle, sons-in-law, grandchildren and brothers ans sisters.
Darren and Betsy Butrum, King City, hosted a birthday party for their daughter, Kristen. She was celebrating her sixth birthday Sunday. Among those attending was her grandmother, Reva Lupfer, McFall.
Jimmy and Charlotte Pearce and family from Blockton, Iowa, David and Theresa Pearce from Mt. Ayr, Iowa, Larry and Ann Hill, Maysville, Paul and Sally Schweedler, Paul Jr. Schweedler, were all visiting Mr. and Mrs. Steve Schweedler in downtown Pattonsburg.
Those visiting Leroy and Janelle Mikes during this weekend were Scott Klindt and children, Cameron, Sandra Holman, Princeton, Shanna Day and daughter Darian, Kearney, Lee Mikes, Pattonsburg, and his daughter Leigh Ann Potter, Blue Springs. Sandra (Jarrett) Whitman, Overland Park, Kan., also stopped by for a visit.
Angie Crowder and children, Jared and Jenna, Centralia, spent the weekend with Tommie Lowrey and grandma Lavena. They also visited with Clyde and Mildred Hulet and other family members.
One day last week Kim and Michele Harris, Brian and Tracy Huffman of Boone, Iowa, stopped by Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Newby’s on their way home from the Nascar races at Kansas Speedway.
Sunday evening visitors of Loretta and J.T. Newby were Richard Allwood of Maysville, and Rick and Judy Carter of Cameron.
Weekend visitors of Woodrow and Maxine Morris were Ronnie and Susie Davenport and Ryan Davenport of Cameron.
A week ago Friday Maxine Morris, Dorlene Munn, Betty Eastwood and Janette Pinson went to St. Joseph where Janet Sue Stitt met with them and had lunch together.
