Access II Independent Living Center, Inc., in Gallatin, will hold its first annual Disability Awareness Day between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
Those attending can expect to find information about the opportunities, equipment, services and latest technologies available for the disabled. Employers will be made aware of the many things the disabled can do with the right equipment.
Hourly door prizes, free refreshments, free glaucoma testing, free blood pressure testing, free oral cancer screening will be offered. Lunch will be provided free of charge.
