On Sept. 11 we celebrated “Little House on the Prairie Day.” We watched the video, “First Christmas.”In the afternoon we had our fellowship time with communion being served.Rev. Alvin Hillman filled in for Rev. Betty Huffman who was unable to be here. Deloris Read played the piano. Sam Read also attended.Sunday, Sept. 16, Lake Viking Church held the worship service. Rev. Robert Nelson provided special music along with the devotion. Everyone enjoyed it very much.Sept. 27 and 28 will be our White Elephant Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you would like to donate items for this, please have them here by Sept. 24. The money taken in will go to the activity fund. We also had a booth during the Chautauqua days where we had face painting. It was a lot of fun. Jamie Pares was our artist and did a fantastic job. Jodi Frasier also helped. The donations went to the activity fund. We appreciate you all very much.
