Funeral services for Jeniece Galpin were held Saturday at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St., Kansas City, 64155. Graveside service was also held Sept 8 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Gallatin.

Jeniece Galpin, 88, Kansas City, formerly of Gallatin, died Sept. 5, 2007, in Kansas City.
She was born on Dec. 25, 1918, in Booneville, Ark., to Clarence Austin and Nora (Ervin) Austin.
Mrs. Galpin worked with her husband in their insurance and real estate agency in Gallatin.
She was preceded in death by her husband Heath Galpin in 1994; and a sister, Lavohn Hill.
Survivors include one son Raymond Franklin Parks, Kansas City; one stepson, Bud Galpin, St Joseph; and one grandson.
