Gallatin Lady Bulldog golfers, led by senior Kathryn Everly, continue to roll through the early portion of the 2007 schedule by winning their fifth meet of the season Tuesday. The Lady Bulldogs moved to 5-0 on the season with a 192 to 229 road victory over Albany.

Everly captured her fourth medalist award in as many meets by tying teammate Alex Burge for Tuesday’s low score, a 45. For Burge, it was her first medalist honor. Shalyn Lollar also shot her best round of the season for Gallatin, a 50.

Kelly Critten added 52 and Sydney Elbert carded a 57 for Gallatin.

Sarah Cornett led jayvee efforts with a 58, followed by Sarah Smith 69 and Bailey Bozarth 70.

The Lady Bulldogs continued to roll over conference competition last Thursday when they defeated both Maysville and Stanberry in Maysville. Gallatin golfers combined for 202 to top Maysville (212) and Stanberry (243) in the three-team meet.

Everly kept her medalist streak alive by shooting a 45 to lead the field. Critten tied for runnerup with a 51. Elbert and Burge each shot 53. Lollar added a 65 to the varsity total.

Cornett topped Gallatin jayvee golfers with a 53, followed by Smith 61 and Bozarth 78.

The Lady Bulldogs host Hamilton and Lawson at 4 p.m. on Thursday and will participate in the Plattsburg Tournament on Friday.
