Relay for Life was held last weekend with 15 teams participating with an average of eight to 10 people on each team.
The suffocating heat may have kept some people away, still over $15,100 was collected for the American Cancer Society and more funds are expected. There were 168 luminaries sold at $5 a piece.
The basket auction was a great success, according to organizers. The auction brought about $2,300 for 55 baskets sold.
The Relay for Life Talent Show, sponsored by The Dance Company of Gallatin, had a great turnout for 2007.
