Funeral services for Tobias Detweiler were held on Sunday at the John Kurtz Residence, Jamesport.

Burial was in the Meadowview Cemetery, Jamesport, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany.
Tobias J. Detweiler, 94, Jamesport, MO, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007 at his home.
He was born Oct. 14, 1912 in Thomas, Okla., the son of Joe B. and Lydia (Yoder) Detweiler.
He married Lena Miller. She preceded him in death on Jan. 3, 1993.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sarah on Sept. 17, 1997; and nine grandchildren.
Survivors include eight daughters, Lydia Gingerich, Jamesport, Anna Mary Schrock, Verona, Mo., Ida Stutzman, Jamesport, Elizabeth Detweiler of the home, Magdalena Yoder, Emma Kurtz, Barbara Beechy, all of Jamesport, and Ada Yoder, Marion, Ky.; six sons, Eli, Jamesport, Joe, Bloomfield, Iowa, Freeman, Charlotte, Mich., Henry, Howe, Ind, Raymond, Lamar, Toby , Macy, Ind.; 130 grandchildren; and 445 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
